Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 17, 2026
1. What we collect
- Questions you submit for deliberation
- IP addresses for free tier rate limiting (not stored long-term)
- Email addresses provided with API key registration (keyed users only)
- API key usage metadata (request counts, timestamps) for rate limiting and abuse prevention
- SpectreHub data only if you voluntarily connect your SpectreHub account
2. What we store
We store the following data:
- Cases — your question, metadata, and processing status
- Verdicts — the structured deliberation output
- Canonical claims — anonymized reasoning patterns used to improve system calibration and decision quality across the platform (no personally identifiable information)
A PII scrubber runs before filing to strip personal information from the reasoning pipeline.
3. Third-party data processors
Your questions are processed through multiple third-party AI model providers for deliberation, adversarial analysis, and oversight. We also use the following infrastructure providers:
4. Data location
All infrastructure is hosted in the United States.
5. Data retention
Free tier:
- Cases: 90 days, then deleted
- Verdicts: 1 year, then deleted
Pro:
- Cases and verdicts: retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation
- Decision memory and calibration data persist while your subscription is active — this is what makes the system learn
Enterprise:
- Configurable retention — Enterprise customers may set custom data retention policies, including indefinite retention for organizational decision memory
- Isolated decision memory — Enterprise data is segregated from other customers
All tiers:
- Canonical claims: retained permanently (anonymized, no PII) — these are the reasoning patterns that make the system smarter over time
You may request immediate deletion of your case data at any time via the API (DELETE /v1/cases/{id}) or by emailing us.
6. Data ownership
You retain ownership of your data. Your questions, context, evidence, and any input you provide remain yours. Verdicts and reasoning artifacts generated from your input are yours to use, export, and share as you see fit.
7. What we do not do
- We never sell your data
- We never use your questions to train models
- We never share your data beyond the processors listed above
- We never serve tracking advertisements
- We never claim ownership of insights or reasoning artifacts derived from your input
8. Cookies and local storage
VectorCourt uses browser localStorage to track your recent submissions on the client side. This data is not transmitted to our servers. Our bot verification system may set functional cookies. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies.
